Dr Lam has joined Fortis Physio and Wellness clinic after working as a podiatrist at White Rock Footcare Clinic for the past year. She is excited to be joining a multi specialty clinic Including physiotherapy, massage, Chiropractor and acupuncture to provide a comprehensive approach to foot health. Prior to this Dr Lam had her own practice in Mount Vernon, Washington for over 20 years. She brings over 29 years of experience in treating foot related conditions, such as painful thick and/or infected ingrown toenails, fungus, heal pain, flat feet, providing custom foot orthotics, foot wounds, warts, foot pain and injury. Dr. Lam graduated in 1994 from podiatry school in San Francisco, California and did a two year hospital residency in Boston Massachusetts. She grew up in Burnaby, British Columbia however and first graduated from UBC as a pharmacist.

She was in her own private practice for over 20 years in Mount Vernon, WA. She also worked at Skagit Valley Hospital Wound clinic for over 15 years treating complicated diabetic wounds to prevent amputations.

She believes strongly in listening, educating and providing gentle care for her patients foot and ankle problems and especially treating painful and infected ingrown toenails.

She also has extensive experience in prescribing and fitting people for custom foot orthotics based on biomechanical principles and using modern digital scanning techniques.
